Gene Terinoni caught the bug for performing from his Uncle Gary who was a Jazz drummer playing at local clubs.in Philadelphia. He had Gene singing harmony at the age of four and made sure Gene played the drums for everyone at the family gatherings. By the age of 14, Gene was singing and playing guitar in a group called "The Epsilons".

At the age of seventeen after graduating from Frankford High, Gene enlisted in the Green Beret's serving three years. After he was discharged he then studied broadcasting in Milwaukee with a goal of becoming an announcer but somehow managed to go into the Philadelphia Police Department for a short stint. Gene worked in Patrol as a Police officer, Corporal and Sergeant as well as working under cover for 4years before being promoted to Sergeant. He also was chosen to help train and reform the Philadelphia S.W.A.T Unit. He served as a SWAT Team leader as well as being the Sergeant on "Team Seven", a 20 man Anti Terrorist and Hostage Rescue Team. During his service to the Philadelphia Police Department he was decorated 14 times by the city for Valor, Bravery and Merit. Gene likes to think he retired as a Lieutenant after 22 years of character study.

While he was a policeman he was also a professional Magician by the name of "Linguini". He was picked as one of the top five magicians in Philadelphia by Philadelphia Magazine as well as the top Juggler. During his last five years in the Police Department he studied acting with Gordon Phillips at the Wilma Theater in Philadelphia. He has also studied with Gary Austin, Michael Gellman, Wendy MacKenzie , Jeffrey Sweet and Carol Fox Prescott from Artistic New Direction in New York. Gene has been seen in NY Theater in "Phantom" "Music Man" and "Sugar Babies". His TV credits include "Philly", "Homicide" ,"The Conan O'Brien Show", "The New Detectives", "The Prosecutors" , "QVC" ,and "Up ALL Night". Film credits include lead roles in the films "Pride and Loyalty" and "Tinsel Town.

He also has extensive experience in improvisation and has done over one thousand interactive performances both corporate and Theatrical. Gene also directed the Off Broadway Show "Revenge in the Mob". and has His love for the arts has led him to be the Artistic Director for the guild of Italian American actors in New York and he now offers classes in "Commercial Acting", "Monologues", "Cold Readings" and "Improvisation" right in his home town. Whether Gene is working on a Feature Film , Industrial Film, Commercial or performing in Theater or Musical Theater, Gene loves performing and hopes to touch his audience whenever he performs, no mater what role he has taken on.
